Computer Accounts
Orientation Procedure
Follow the instructions below in order to activate your Medaille Computer Account. You may wish to print out this page first to assist you in following these steps and you may print our PDF Technology Checklists for new students and employees by clicking here:

1. Activate and Manage your Medaille Accounts through the Computer Accounts Management System (CAMS). IT Accounts services are web-based. This account will give you access to email, network services and all student or employee records; including personal data, registration, financial aid, payroll, career management/coop, etc. For best performance, we suggest IE 5.5 or greater.
GO TO: http://accounts.medaille.edu/
- To activate a new account, Click the link "Click Here to Pick Up First Accounts."
- NOTE: Computer Accounts may not be available to students until all registration and matriculation fees are paid and credited.
- Enter the requested information on the log in screen. Click Continue.
- NOTE: If the Computer Accounts system does not recognize you, please call (716) 880-2202 between 8 am and 4 pm, Monday through Friday or email helpdesk@medaille.edu.
- NEXT: Read the Acceptable Use Policy--You must agree in order to continue.
- Pick A Password-You may accept the system generated password or create your own. Stick to the 3 rules for selecting a new password.
- Step 4-- Delivery of Account to Client includes (!!You should print this final page!!)
- College ID (8 digit number)
- computer account login Userid (EX: abc34)
- password (up to 8 characters)
- official email address
- Record this information or print out the page. Click the Continue button.
- When you return the the Computer Accounts Management Service to manage your passwords, email forwarding or personal alias, simply log in with your userid and password at http://accounts.medaille.edu.
2. MedailleOne, http://one.medaille.edu, provides a "One Stop Shop" for online services. Using MedailleOne you can do many things like check your email, view your courses and organize your calendar. The portal provides access to news and campus announcements. Your WebCT courses are included too. Click on the My Courses Tab to see the list of courses you are enrolled in.
Log into MedailleOne with your Computer Account userid (ex: abc34) and your password.
